WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re excited to announce our new and improved Photoshop 101 class! Photoshop is a wonderfully versatile program for manipulating your photos and creating unique designs all by editing pixels. This class is ideal for bloggers, photographers, and creatives of all types!
In this class, you’ll learn how to adjust and modify your images to take them from good to amazing. You’ll learn tips and tricks for photo retouching, how to create animated gifs, how to create inspiration boards and how to add text to your images. This class will also cover how to use Adobe Bridge for storing your photos and the new Camera Raw Filter in Adobe Photoshop CC.
This class will be taught in Creative Cloud. Versions CS5, CS6 and CC are recommended for use with this class. Versions earlier than CS5 may not translate well enough and are not recommended.
PLEASE NOTE: This course teaches the full version of Photoshop, not PS Elements. If you own Elements, this class will not apply to your program.
HOW IT WORKS
The Nicole’s Classes application is a downloadable program you install on your computer. (The link to download will be provided the day the class starts.) Learning is divided into 4 weeks and within those weeks you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. There are no set class times, though homework is due every Sunday night for instructor feedback. Students also have unlimited email access to the instructor for the duration of their course, to ask questions or get help when they’re stuck. Our classes are flexible, fit into most any schedule and we happily welcome international students!
Photoshop 101 has no prerequisite courses. All you need is the Photoshop program installed on your computer and you’ll be ready to go! If you don’t have Photoshop yet and are unsure if it’s the right program for you, Adobe offers a free 7-day trial.
