InDesign is the industry standard program for making multiple page documents. In InDesign 101, beginners with little or no experience in InDesign can learn how to use this powerhouse program. The course is project based, and students can expect to learn how to make flash cards, a dated planner and recipe book, a flyer, and a novel with a table of contents! By the end of the course, students will be confident in InDesign, and empowered to create outstanding documents for print or PDF.
The Nicole’s Classes application is a downloadable program you install on your computer. (The link to download will be provided the day the class starts.) Learning is divided into 4 weeks and within those weeks you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. There are no set class times, though homework is due every Sunday night and there may be scheduled chats with the instructor. Our classes are flexible, fit into most any schedule and we happily welcome international students!
InDesign has no prerequisite courses. InDesign CS5 or higher must be installed on your computer. If you don’t have InDesign yet and are unsure if it’s the right program for you, Adobe offers a free 30-day trial.

“I wish I could download Alma’s brain—she knows everything about everything! I love all the extra tips and background tidbits she gives. I also love how she includes herself in the InDesign class. Makes it more personable!” —Kristin, InDesign 101 student
