The first session of this class will be held in April 2013. This class is held every other month and generally starts the third Monday of that month and continues for 2 weeks.
This class is ideal for any and all creatives — it applies to designers, photographers, illustrators, sewers, bloggers, filmmakers, and anyone striving to establish a business in a creative field.
We don’t believe that you have to be a starving artist to be successful — now more then ever there is plenty of work out there for artists! We believe with a little help, you too can be successful and turn your passion into your profession.
Melanie & Alma will go over their tips to success, as well as the nitty gritty of running a successful creative business. They will go over setting up your company, making business plans, spreading the word, how to find and work with clients, the art of charging, and how to network and work with other creatives. This class is packed full of advice from these two working designers, as well as other successful artists. This may be one of the most practical classes you take here at Nicole’s Classes and we’d recommend it to everyone who has loved any of our design classes and wondered how to take the next step!
The Nicole’s Classes application is a downloadable program you install on your computer. (The link to download will be provided the day the class starts.) Learning is divided into 2 weeks and within those weeks you can learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere. There are no set class times, though homework is due every Sunday night and there may be scheduled chats with the instructor. Our classes are flexible, fit into most any schedule and we happily welcome international students!
This class has no prerequisites and is beginner and seasoned artist friendly!
This class is taught by two instructors.
