Mother’s Day Contest

Here at Nicole’s Classes, we love our moms! In fact, we might even go so far as to say that without our moms, we wouldn’t have our classes and our textbooks available for you, because our moms put in a lot of hours of babysitting and general backup support as we first started our online classes and textbooks a little over two years ago.

So whether you are a mom, or you have a mom, we’d love for you to participate in our contest! Enter to win 2 free online classes—one for you and one for your mother! (Well… You can give it to whomever you like, or don’t tell anyone and keep it for yourself!)

The theme, of course, is motherhood. Here are the contest rules:

“Like” Nicole’s Classes on Facebook. Upload a motherhood-themed photo, illustration, or design and tag yourself. Must be your own artwork.

Drawing closes Thursday, May 10th at midnight PST.

Winner will be picked by Nicole’s Classes judges and announced Friday, May 11th!

We will ALSO be giving away a free online class for the photo with the most “likes…” so get your friends to vote for you!

Teacher Tips: How to Make Sparkler Images

Last summer, I shot a beautiful wedding in Roseville, CA. After the sparkler send-off, I had the bridesmaids finish with some messages to the couple with the leftover sparklers. Here’s how to do them:

*Use a tripod
*Set camera mode to M (manual)
*Set f/stop to f5.6
*Set shutter speed to 4″ (4 seconds) or slower (make the shutter speed faster for more defined words)
*Set white balance to Tungsten
*Make sure everyone writes their letters backwards!

Have fun!

Hostgator Coupons Hostgator I am using hostgator for my website. My website is a wordpress website. Hostgator provided (as per my knowledge) a complete wordpress support. I am happy with their service till now, especially their chat support is very helpfull. As mention is the topic, me too is also dissapointed with their 100$ Adword Coupon. Hostgator Coupons
